Winter Wonderland II

In February, we were able to go up with our friends the Dorius' to their cabin up near Strawberry Reservoir. It was so beautiful and peaceful! It snowed a bit while we were up there, we had a hard time getting out with our bald tires!
Jeff and Jen, aren't they cute!
They are a little crazy, sometimes some frothing at the mouth.
Twins, Ty and Logan
We always have plenty of good food!
And plenty of game playing.
The kids loved playing in the snow. We had a pretty good snowball fight too.

Beautiful view.

Winter Wonderland

Well, again I have found myself not keeping up with my posts. I think it's because we have been having way to much fun to stop and write it all down. I am going to attempt to post some of our activities from this Spring, so I can remember it for the future.

As most of us all know, Jon is a very activity oriented person. He has to have something planned and going on all of the time. This year has not been an exception. I have found myself on the west and then the east coast in the last month with other activities scatered in between. He brings my life much joy along with some chaos, but we love it and enjoy our life surrounded by friends and family.
WINTER WONDERLAND

In January our friends the Schencks took us snowmobiling. I had never been before and was a little nervous of being too slow or falling behind. Well, going up the trail to get to where we were going I was in the back and my snowmobile stopped, just stopped. They had to come down and get me, something to do with the throtle??? Anyways, needless to say I didn't have any other problems staying up with them after that. It was sooooo beautiful up there. We had the whole place to ourselves. Thanks Trevor and Jodi for a great time and great memories!

KISSING Bandits!!!

Love has sure been in the air around these parts! Can you identify some of these Love Bandits?

Some might have not been caught in a lip lock, but I thought they could use an honorable mention in tenderness.

Kids are Too Cute!

I've been bad at blogging the last 2 months. We've had a lot of fun, though! Christmas, New Years, visiting with friends, etc. I just figured I'd put up some pictures of my cute kids. They really are fun and quite entertaining. They bring so much joy to our home!

Jaden and Colton getting their pay out and drinking their first pop in a year - They are going for another year, pop free!

Colton and Dawson showing off their cool matching shoes. D-Bone thinks he's quite COOL, notice him flashing the gang signs!

Paityn waiting to catch the bus, D-Bone with more gang signs.

You never know who is on who's side when it comes to wrestling.

Paityn and Gracie playing cards, P-num always the dramatic.

Colton can often times be found rocking out in the band room. He had a good rocking out partner in Savannah.

Jaden and Colton getting ready for school.

Paityn and Dawson can often be found in their imaginary land.

Jon's attempt at making our nightly ritual of lotioning up Dawson fun, it didn't really work.

Paityn always likes to help. Here she is feeding her cousin Hank, and enjoying every minute of it.

Jaden working on her Science project.

Christmas in New York

We had such a great time in New York! I can't believe how much we saw and how much we did in 3 days. We went to 3 Broadway shows, ate amazing meals, shopped, and walked and walked and walked. There was a lot of sightseeing. We saw Rockefeller Center, the Today show, Times Square, Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, China Town, World Trade Center Sight, Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Museum of Natural History, Juliard, The Lincoln Center, LDS Temple, and many famous buildings and stores. It was a little cold and a little crowded, but that all added to the experience. We had great company too, we couldn't have asked for better traveling companions than Trevor and Jodi!At the airport, excited to start our trip.

Times Square in the pouring rain, luckily Jon brought the umbrellas! We saw Al Roaker at the TODAY Show. (And we saw Jaden's Kindergarden teachr from Colorado).
We rode the subway.

Ferry out to Liberty Island. I Love seeing the Statue of Liberty, it is quite breath taking.

Ellis Island Museum.

The view of Manhattan skyline from Liberty Island.

Site of World Trade Center in the Financial District.

Our covert operations in China Town. That's me holding some questionable loot.

The men even picked up some bling in China Town.

WICKED!!! So much fun!

Where we saw some REAL Tiffany jewelry.

Handsome cab ride through Central Park - How romantic!

We went through Penn station and Madison Square garden on the night of a game.

We LOVED the food, and Bubba Gumps was me and Jodi's favorite.

Lion King was fun too,(Not as good as Wicked though). We also saw Young Frankenstien, very funny!

Jon Pondering in Central Park.

It was fun to see the Christmas lights, decorations, and windows.
